Let my Hand Go

Let my hand go,

Let me disappear into red tinted snow.

Can’t you see I have feelings too?

Can’t you understand I have to let you go, because I love you?

I know it’s harsh and hardly sane,

But this is how I deal with pain.

How am I ever going to find my guiding light,

If you keep me hidden away at night?

Please don’t cry, please don’t cry,

I know it’s hard to break the bond of you and I.

it was always us two,

You know me, and I know you.

Two cold hearts unite to an uncomprehendable to most friendship,

We never cried, until this whole story took a flip.

And now we have no choice but to be teared apart,

And we wish we could play our story from the start.

But don’t you realize we have to move on?

The world keeps spinning, and our hearts will stay as one.

And every night before you go to sleep,

Look at the moon, and sky’s stars so deep.

Remember my tunes in your times of sadness,

Or forget me if it can cure your madness.

Just what matters the most to me,

Is your happiness, don’t you see?

So after you let go of my hand,

Wherever you gotta go, whatever you gotta do,

Just remember that I’ll always be in your heart, and I’ll always love you.

Generation Dead

What happened to life and living?
What happened to caring, not taking but giving?
Has our society really come this far?
That the only movement of people is from their bed to the kitchen to the car?
What happened to friendly talks with strangers by the sea side?
Why are people turning so weirdly antisocial, alone, like they have something to hide?
This generation is fast and never stops,
There’s barley time anymore to enjoy life’s little pleasures, it’s like we’re constantly being watched by cops!
But is it really just that?
At the same time we are getting lazy, boring, fat.
Kids at the age of 5 getting their phones,
When I was their age, I was playing with sticks and stones.
Walk through the hallways of a school and what you’ll see,
Is dozens of 1st graders sitting on their computers whilst outside its nice and sunny.
What happened to imagination?
What happened to childhoods of jumping around in mud, a time of fun, failure and creation.
A family who only sees each other for dinner,
Sits down but there it is, the ring of the sinner.
Dad jumps up and leaves for the call,
The children don’t seem to like this at all.
Our world is always evolving, I get that,
Of course we can’t stay back in time, go back to the times we thought our world was flat.
But what we can do,
Is take a deep breath stop thinking less about the me, I myself, you.
Turn off that phone every now and then,
Don’t let your children waste their lives in a virtual world of loneliness.
Let them be creative, hand them a piece of paper and a pen.
Don’t make them fall asleep in front of the TV, tell them stories of Spider-Man, the monster of Loch Ness !
Don’t let them evolve into imagination less wrecks with squared vision,
Let them be creative, give them a goal, a mission!
And this is what our Generation has come to,
Efficiency at the cost of the quality of life and what we like to do.

Rusty Rooftops

I just wanna climb on the rusty rooftops with you,
And lay down on the creaky old, cold metal
You can take me into your arms and I will feel warmth trickling down my spine
And stare with you at the blue moon and stars, and get distracted by your eyes, so sublime.
I can almost feel your fingers run through my hair,
And hear your voice chatter into the light of the stars as we lay in the midst of chilled gloomy air.
Our bodies are freezing and the only warmth we get is by gentle kisses
I’ll let our minds wander off into the stars and infinities of the night time sky.
Say goodbye to planet earth, but soon
The sun will rise and warm our bodies with the first light of the day,
And we will wake up to each other, just smile.
Just exchange looks and say nothing for a while.
There are no words to express how we feel right now.
Oh how I love those rusty rooftops,
Of my imagination.

The End is Near

The end is near they say, the end is near.

It creeps just  a little closer with every tear.

With every breath, word, doing.

Weather or not you’re pursuing.

Pursuing your  dreams, you’re racing against time.

You can sing your song, but it wont stay in chime.

They say why hope, when all will be lost in the end?

Why waste your time with a fake friend?

When with time you`ll be nothing but a far fetched memory, that will fade.

They always say the end is near,

but why live life in fear?

Life is short, but that helps us understand,

That life is a beautiful thing, we should live it, stand with naked feet in the sand.

We should jump around and breathe the air,

Love, smile, and pursue our dreams without a care.

We should enjoy the time we are given and count our days in moments,

Rather than to negatively bring down ourselves and despise life with all its components.

They say the end is near, it might.

But life is too colourful, too bright.

To notice the dark and despise our life`s.

To cut our life deep with sharp black knifes.

Why not love it, when its beautiful in its own ways,

Rather than to despise it, live your life in happiness and craze.

Use the the little time you’ve got and listen to the sound of the air,

Possibilities are infinite, its you to decide weather or not to care.

The end is near they say, the end is near.

One Look

All it took was one look.

One look it was, that started a chain reaction in my body.

Fingers go numb, I am paralysed by this beautiful creature.

All it took, was one look, and I was caught on the hook.

Our stares are colliding, quick! React!

But what did I do, just stare.

Hit too hard by the stares impact.

So soft yet so colliding, so abstract, just by his one glare,

All I could do, was dumbly stare.

Stare at his eyes, his lips, his smile, his.. everything.

My words started to stutter, my mind started forgetting.

The world around is nothing but background noise that I barely noticed,

I was too carried away by, well, you. Too focused.

And all my lips can form is a distant sounding “Hey.”

Nothing more, not even asking about how hes doing, his day.

Before the world seemed so black and white,

But by one stare its suddenly more colourful, more bright.

And all it took was one look.

One look, was all it took.

The Puzzle

You think you know me?

You THINK you do.

You think you’ve solved my puzzle?

Well you should think that through.

You’ve solved two pieces out of a hundred, congratulations.

Yeah I admit, my puzzle does need some patience.

Ive got two faces, but you`ve only seen one.

And that one is the pretty face, bubbly, happy, fun.

It shows most of the time, overshadowing the other, that no one wants to see.

But as much as I want to deny it, its a part of me.

Every now and then, when my world comes crashing down,

The usual smile turns into a frown.

I cant explain it, sometimes theres no reason,

Its like a quick change of weather, from the sunny, to the rainy season.

Over weeks and weeks my happy side shows, ignoring the bad.

The bad does stay with me, but I ignore it, dont let it make me mad.

And the smile turns bigger, so it can hide this pile of badness thats accumulating in my brain.

Its there to hide how much it actually causes me pain.

I want to be strong, and never show fears.

Ignore my sadness, Ignore the tears.

And every once in a while, when the burden becomes to big to hold in,

My whole world comes crashing in.

Like a dam breaking.

And all that just because I was was faking.

Faking and hiding, behind that beautiful smile.

But let me tell you, that fades every once in a while.

The happy side is pleasant, but once in a while its okay,

To let that smile fade away.

Our minds need some time to deal with the bad,

And if you choose to ignore that, it will make you sad.

Even if the bad might seem ever so small and insignificant, deal with it.

It wont do you any bad, it will give you a benefit!

And then you can be happy, and smile without having to hide,

The other burdened, side.

Because the burden will be gone, and the side will feel free,

And both sides will be in harmony, just like waves in the sea.
